"I have a cover dated 16th August, 1947, postmarked Cockburn Harbour with 'C' and date in circle. Printed on the top of the envelope is 'On His Majesty's Service' and across the centre '1st Direct Airmail Service from the Turks Islands to Jamaica.' The stamp on it is K.G. VI 6d (S.G. 201a). I shall be obliged if any member can inform me how many of these covers were flown, as I understand this service is no longer in operation."
